Board of Review complaints
The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, Office of the Inspector General, Board of Review (BOR) provides a fair, impartial, and expeditious hearing process to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources’ customers and providers who feel they have been unfairly impacted by DHHR programs. Civil Rights Discrimination complaints
Clients or customers of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources who feel they have been subject to illegal discrimination or harassment due to their membership in a protected class (race, color, national origin, sex, religious creed, disability, age, political beliefs, reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by the USDA) have the right to file a formal Civil Rights Complaint. Inspector General
The Office of Inspector General (OIG), by impartial evaluation, investigation, and reporting, seeks to ensure the integrity of department programs and operations including the fair, accurate and nondiscriminatory delivery of benefits and services to qualified state residents. OIG is dedicated to combating and eliminating fraud, waste, and abuse in West Virginia’s health care and benefit services. Our dedicated employees work diligently to ensure patient safety and compliance from West Virginia health care providers. A statewide team of investigators, reviewers, surveyors, and hearing officers work tirelessly to ensure the OIG succeeds in protecting vulnerable citizens and the integrity of department programs and services.
